Rules of play at Playbase

While using the equipment at Playbase indoor soft play centre in Dover parents and guardians are responsible for the child’s safety and making sure the equipment is used correctly. Playbase Ltd or its staff can not be held responsible for any accidents or injuries occurred whilst using the
equipment.
 
  • Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, over the age of 18, the adult will need to remain within the building while the child is attending. The child can not be left alone without an adult supervising. Playbase does not accept responsibility for the supervision of children.
  • No Shoes to be worn in the play area. Please remove shoes. Socks must be worn at all times, by both children and adults.
  • No food or drink items are allowed on any of the play equipment.
  • Balls or other objects must not be thrown at each other. Fighting,
    bullying, abusive, aggressive, or any type of behaviour deemed to be unsuitable towards staff or members of the public, from either children or adults, will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
  • Management reserve the right to enforce total bans.
  • Nappy changing and the use of potties etc, must be conducted in either the toilets or designated baby change room. Please place nappies in the bin provided.
  • No food or drinks can be brought in to the venue. Only food and drinks brought from our cafe can be consumed in the centre.
    However, it is permitted to bring food and drink for babies under 1 year. Abuse of this rule, will result in you being asked to leave.
  • Report any behavioural concerns to a member of staff. Don’t attempt to intervene yourself.
  • Staff reserve the right to refuse entry.
  • Do not climb on the netted walls or the structure.
  • Children and adults are advised to wear long trousers and long sleeve shirts on the play equipment, to minimise risk of personal injury, clothes should be tucked in at all times.
  • Clothes with ropes, cords and studs should not be worn in the play area.
  • Do not climb up the slides, or play in front of the slide exits.
  • Only children who are under 12 years of age may use the equipment unless on specific events like adult/teen nights.
  •  All Accidents to be reported to a member of staff, so it can be logged.
    • All Spillages to be reported to a member of staff.

Refunds & Cancellations

• You can cancel your booking at any time please give as much notice as possible.
• Refunds will incur a 10% admin fee.
• If you like to move your booking to a different date this requires minimum 72 hours notice for general entrance and 1 week notice for parties.

General entrance cancellation

• Full payment must be made at time of booking
• A refund can only be actioned if cancellation is at least 48 hours prior to the booking date
• Any cancellations within 48 hours of the booking will result in no refund

Party Payment and Cancellation

• Deposit needs to be paid at the time of booking, if the deposit is not paid your booking is not guaranteed and you may lose the booking.
• Final payment must be paid 1 week before the party.
• Final number of children attending has to be confirmed at least 1 week prior to the party
• Any add ons has to be confirmed at lease 1 week before the party.
• Party deposits can not be refunded no matter when the cancellation occurs or the reason.
• Parties cancelled more than 1 week prior to the event, any payment over the deposit will be refunded.
• Parties cancelled less than 1 week prior to the event, any payment over the deposit will not be refunded.
